We exist because the weaver deserves better.

loomed.in was started with one simple belief: the person who spends three days at a pit loom, calculating a complex ikat pattern entirely from memory, deserves to be paid fairly. And the person who buys that fabric deserves to know exactly who made it and how.

Neither of those things was possible through the traditional supply chain.

So we built a direct one.

Today loomed.in works directly with weaving households and cooperatives across Odisha — in Bargarh, Barpali, Sonepur, and Sambalpur. Every artisan is verified, named, and represented on our platform. Every piece is photographed at the source before it is listed.

When you buy from loomed.in:

  • 70–80% of what you pay goes directly to the weaving household
  • You can trace your fabric back to the loom it came from

We are not a marketplace. We are not a retailer. We are a direct bridge between your doorstep and a loom in Odisha.

That is all we want to be.

  • Fair Pay

70–80% of every purchase goes directly to the weaving household. Not to agents. Not to us. To the hands that made it.

  • Full Transparency

Every piece is listed with the region it came from. You know exactly whose work you are buying.

Rooted in Odisha

Odisha has one of India's oldest and most sophisticated hand weaving traditions. The Sambalpuri and Ikat techniques practiced here are recognised by a Geographical Indication tag — meaning they can only be authentically produced in this region.

Join us in making it right.

Every purchase on loomed.in is a vote for a fairer supply chain. Thank you for being here.
